The Can Do system is based on multiple apps that are combined for you depending on your role and your tasks in the company. In this way, you get your own Can Do with the functions you really need for your daily work.

1. Plan accuarately based on what you know

By using realistic key data - exact statements for the near future, inaccurate statements for the distant future - you can plan your projects more easily and reliably.
By using imprecise but realistic data, for example a specific date for the foreseeable future, but information such as summer next year for the distant future, predictions become more reliable and you do not have to constantly adjust your project plans. This saves you an average of 20% time and increases confidence in your planning capabilities.

2. Plan projects with both agile and traditional methods

Even for projects that are controlled in Jira®, you always have an overview of the capacities used - without having to leave Can Do.

5. Avoid discussions between project and line sides

The Staffer function saves you a lot of time in the coordination between the organisations, project and line by showing you whether the line department has exactly the resources you need and is able to make them available.
In addition, the Staffer allows you to allocate staff and entire departments according to upcoming project tasks as well as individual project phases - as granularly as you need. The fine-tuning between project and line organisation allows you to optimally assemble your team according to capacity utilisation and to see in advance who is actually available - thus avoiding endless rounds of discussions and speeding up the release of projects.

6. Deploy staff according to requirements

The capacity analysis shows you at a glance how your employees are currently utilised - by project, department or resource. You can also simulate future capacity utilisation.
In real time, you can use various evaluation methods to see in real time who is available, when and how, and whether exactly the employees whose skills you need are available. This transparency also enables you to assess whether new projects are feasible or which prerequisites have to be created for them. And you can see which skills are particularly in demand now, and furthermore which skills will be needed in the future based on project simulations.

7. Manage and evaluate demands centrally

The Demands function gives you a centralized place to make project requests. 
After you have applied for your project, you can assign it in a portfolio and store descriptions of the project, special information and documents.
The completeness bar shows you whether your application contains all the relevant information. Your demand is automatically displayed in the project planner (GANTT) and can already be finely planned and simulated with resources in it. In this way you know very quickly if and when your project could be implemented. The switch display always shows you how far the examination of your project has been progressed.

8. Start feasible projects faster

The function "Approve project proposals" provides you with the most important information such as effort, risk and costs at a glance that you can approve feasible projects more quickly.
Essential routines are smartly automated and all relevant parameters for assessing feasibility are displayed. In the case of multi-stage approval processes, all responsible persons are also stored that the individual approval stages can be run through automatically. This saves you valuable time and your employees can start their projects immediately.

9. Cost overviews: let Can Do and SAP talk to each other 

The detailed financial report gives you an extensive and clear overview of all the costs for one and more projects, that you are always well informed and able to provide information.
The total planned costs are compared with the personnel costs based on the time recorded by the employees. If defined and assigned, you can also see the budget status of your project.
The standard interface enables the bidirectional exchange of data between your project and resource management Can Do and common SAP applications.
With the Can Do XML interface server and/or the Can Do Web Service, you can connect to a range of SAP modules such as HR, CRM, BW, SUS and many more. You can simply develop your own SAP interfaces.

10. It's all about you

In the employee suite, you are the centre of attention: here you can find your tasks in a bundle, record and overview your times, see who you are working with and whether you are overloaded.
The personal dashboard is visually presented in such a way that it provides a quick overview: In the speedometer, you can see at first glance whether your hours are in the green or red zone. In addition, you can click here to go directly to the time recording. Activities and tasks appear on the one hand as a list with all the important status information, and on the other hand in a Gantt chart to give you an overview of the project periods.

11. Use smart time tracking

With Can Do, you can quickly and easily record the time you need for the individual tasks in the project: either via the application or mobile via app.

In your employee tile, you can record your times by project, day, week and month, and due to the integration in your personal dashboard, you can always keep and track it. With the Can Do Hours mobile app for Android and iOS, you can record your times in seconds using sliders and report progress with one click. You can also activate the reminder function in the app to always stay up to date. This way, the unloved topic of time tracking becomes simple and easy.

12. Add new staff in the system in seconds

The HR import function saves you time you would have spent on manually creating and updating your organsiational and department structure as well as your staff. You can import a CSV file of your entire workforce along with your organizational departmental structure easily-either one time or periodically.
Data on absences, such as those due to illness, training or vacations, also flow directly into your capacity planning once it's been imported.

13. Achieve hybrid project management by working with Can Do

Can Do is the central platform for project management that helps you to plan and control projects and their resource planning with classic instruments (such as waterfall or network planning techniques).
