PRINCIPLES

External responsibility
We protect international human rights and comply with relevant laws and regulations. We support the development of a strong and sustainable society. As a company, we are part of the society in which we operate.

We assume our social responsibility as a company. Weask you to do justice to this by dedicating ourselves to positive future projects. We support Start-u ps and initiatives to promote new ideas for social development. Examples of this are p ro-b ono consulting or the voluntary commitment of our employees.

We are committed to the environment and see environmental protection as an important aspectof our social responsibility. 

Professional integrity
We treat our customers and partners fairly. We compete in a legal and ethical way. We strongly reject illegal business practices such as corruption and white-collar crime. We expect our customers and partners to comply with the anti-corruption principles. This includes conducting our business in accordance with laws, in particular anti-money laundering and anti-corruption laws, as well as sanctions rules and restrictions. We only work for clients who set the same standards of compliance and human rights as we do. We always work in the best interest of our customers. We always apply professional care and craftsmanship excellence in the execution of our work,and the entire BECEPTUM team is responsible for adhering to ethical standards.

We do not use our knowledge of inside information to buy or sell securities for our own account or for the account of others. We act independently and responsibly. 

Trustworthiness and safety
We treat all non-public information of our customers as strictly confidential. We do not share any proprietary or confidential information about BECEPTUM or our customers except as authorized by the customer or required by applicable law. We keep copyrighted and confidential information safe at all times. We keep company records, data and information accurately and keep them in accordance with legal requirements. We protect the tangible and intangible assets of BECEPTUM and our customers and partners.

 

IN DETAIL

Compliance
BECEPTUM and all employees are bound by all applicable national and international laws. These include, for example, the payment of duties and taxes owed, the necessary obtaining of official approvals, the protection of legal interests of third parties and the observance of all criminal law barriers, in particular in the area of money laundering and fraud. 

Catering and gifts
Gifts and hospitality must reflect normal business conduct and must not influence or appear to influence business decisions. The principles of proportionality, respect for local regulations and common sense are our guiding principles.

For BECEPTUM:

  • Gifts of money are never allowed.
  • For gifts (advertising material, give aways etc. ) the legally defined value limits at the respective location are decisive.
  • Business lunches or similar business invitations must be arranged appropriately.

Data Protection
The protection of data, information systems, premises and telecommunications networks from hostile actions and also from competitors is of immense importance for our success and for the trust of our customers in us.

BECEPTUM's sustainable business success depends to a large extent on the use of confidential information and data and their confidentiality. Confidential information of any kind (e.g. trade secrets, business plans, designs, due diligence findings, strategies, economic data, etc.) may not be passed on to unauthorized persons – neither internally nor externally. This obligation also exists beyond the end of any existing employment relationship. In order to protect such information, a non-disclosure agreement must also be contractually ensured with our business partners.

In addition, the processing of personal data is subject to strict legal regulations.

Sustainability and environmental protection
Sustainability and environmental protection are our central concerns, especially to prove the profitable compatibility of economy and ecology every day. 

All employees are obliged to use our resources sparingly and to actively participate in environmental protection. The primary objectives are the conservation and protection of natural resources, the responsible use of raw materials, the prevention, reduction, recycling and proper disposal of waste. In addition, we recognize our responsibility for sustainability and environmental protection towards suppliers, business partners and contractors.

For necessary business trips, we weigh up all possibilities and choose the most environmentally friendly variant suitable for the situation.

Quality
Our consistently high quality is a central pillar of our business. Customer satisfaction, process-oriented management, error prevention and continuous improvement as well as comprehensive quality management are indispensable. Customer requirements, in particular with regard to quality, reliability and adherence to deadlines, are met. 

Handling of business assets
T
he tangible and intangible assets of BECEPTUM (e.g. concepts, solution scenarios, methodologies, tools, office and office equipment, software, brands, logos, know-how, etc.) are earmarked. The use of these assets is for operational purposes only. The entire BECEPTUM team protects the business assets and handles them with care.

Avoidance of conflicts of interest
Business conduct is based exclusively on the interests of the company. Secondary activities, whether with or without remuneration, which adversely affect the interests of Beceptum or clients, are generally only permitted with the prior written consent of the superior and only in individual cases. BECEPTUM will not refuse consent without good cause.

Employees should generally avoid conflicts of interest. If this is not possible, the employee informs his superior.

Social and ethical responsibility
The commitment to social and ethical responsibility is an essential part of BECEPTUM.

BECEPTUM respects and protects the personal dignity of each individual and cultivates a corporate culture of fairness, performance and mutual respect. BECEPTUM is committed to the requirements of international social and ethical standards and ILO standards.

We treat each other with respect and support our colleagues. We are fully committed to equal employment opportunities. We believe in diversity and strive to hire, develop and retain the most talented people. We maintain a healthy, safe, fair and productive working environment and try to maintain the balance between work and private life. In principle, we exclusively represent the opinion of the company BECEPTUM. So when employees participate in the general political process, they do so as individuals, not as representatives of the company.

Any form of harassment or discrimination against our employees, e.g. on the basis of nationality, origin, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation or similar, is prohibited. No employee may be discriminated against because of the exercise of his personal rights.

These include, in particular, the prohibition of child labour, forced labour, discrimination, bullying and physical disciplinary measures, compliance with safety regulations and occupational safety at work, compliance with statutory working time regulations, fair pay and freedom of membership and cooperation in employee representation.

Export control & customs
As an internationally active company, BECEPTUM complies with all regulations that restrict the free movement of goods in its worldwide business operations. Various international and national laws, regulations and embargoes restrict or prohibit the trade, export or import of technologies, goods or services, as well as capital and payment transactions. BECEPTUM checks each order according to the criteria of various sanction and export lists.
